So the California trip has come and gone and it’s been back to the salt mine and real-life. First, I have to say California is truly amazing even in the midst of the biblical drought they are experiencing. Our first stop was San Francisco. From arriving at the airport, we took a car immediately to the beach and a great lunch at Louis’. A great afternoon which we couldn’t get enough of. My first time in San Francisco and I have to say, I now know what all the hype is about! Northern California is a gem and our stay in Emeryville was just exceptional. Dinner at Trader Vic’s was perfect, the walk around the marina was heaven. Just perfect!
